Dr. Michael Mirzabeigi is a board-certified plastic surgeon and a partner at Atlanta Plastic Surgery P.C, the oldest plastic surgery group in Atlanta founded in 1968. Dr. Mirzabeigi completed his Ivy League training at University of Pennsylvania and Children's Hospital of Philadelphia - considered to be one of the premier programs in plastic surgery.
By providing a modern and thoughtful approach, Dr. Mirzabeigi has become highly sought after for both aesthetic and reconstructive surgery. Dr. Mirzabeigi has been voted by his peers as a Top Doctor in Atlanta magazine. Regarding reconstructive surgery, Dr. Mirzabeigi is considered to be an expert in post-mastectomy breast reconstruction. Building on the legacy of Dr. Carl Hartrampf (the founder of Atlanta Plastic Surgery P.C.), Dr. Mirzabeigi has built one of the highest volume microsurgical DIEP breast reconstruction practices in the southeast. He additionally offers a host of other services such as facial aesthetic surgery, rhinoplasty, gender-affirming surgery and a variety of body contouring techniques. Dr. Mirzabeigi remains involved in medical research and has published numerous peer-reviewed articles and book chapters. He has been invited to present his work at various national and international plastic surgery meetings. He currently serves as a section editor of the breast surgery section in the Annals of Plastic Surgery.
